Job DescriptionThe Compliance Officer II consults with technical, professional, educational, and other training personnel to coordinate, advise, and correctly monitor registered pre-apprentice and apprentice training programs. Discusses advantages of apprenticeship programs with representatives of management, labor, civic, veterans, and legislative groups. Conducts remote and in-person oversight activities to ensure program alignment with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, program requirements and goals. Provides outreach, customer service and technical assistance to program sponsors and conducts investigations. Sets corrective action goals to support program safety, quality, and adherence to apprenticeship guidelines. Organizes communication, training, and outreach activities; presents recordkeeping and apprenticeship compliance requirements to sponsor groups and individuals. Informs and educates agency staff of compliance and procedural requirements. Maintains, records, and updates program information, findings and reviews in agency database. Makes recommendations and consults with agency supervisors and directorship on program policies and procedures and performs related duties as required.
