Job Description SummaryAn exciting opportunity has been created to join our team in Gloucester with Dowty Propellers (a GE Aerospace company) where we are recruiting for a Senior Commodity Manager to be involved in several exciting and high-profile programmes.Reporting to the Global Sourcing and Fulfilment Director, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of commodity managers and buyers, where you will be accountable for all Commodity activity across current product.You will be creating and leading sourcing strategies for Dowty Propellers (A GE Aerospace company) and as the Senior Commodity Manager you will conduct Make vs Buy exercises, develop sourcing category strategies and Business Cases based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), select sources, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements of various types (LTAs and price agreements).
