Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.CNC MACHINIST, STARSHIP COMPONENTS MANUFACTURING (1ST SHIFT) - LEVEL 4/5RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate CNC machines and produce flight hardware needed to achieve program level production rate goalsPerform precision set-ups of various CNC machines on state-of-the-art assetsPrioritize daily work to ensure high machine uptime across the shop/area of your responsibilityManage cutting tools in CNC machines to ensure that machines have the needed cutting tools loaded and measured before they are called in upcoming programsDeburr hardware in your work center to contribute to deliveries to our downstream customersOperate clean line equipment, laser part marking, and general part finishing requirementsOperate and effectively use calibrated devices to ensure hardware exiting the machine shop is conforming and meets print requirementsPerform CNC machine preventative maintenance on a weekly and monthly basisMaintain the shop in terms of chip bins, oils, greases, 5S and general upkeep activitiesRemain flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and support teammates however possibleComplete work instructions and test plans to document needed data throughout each process

Pay range:CNC Machinist/Level 4: $35.00 - $43.00/per hourCNC Machinist/Level 5: $40.00 - $50.00/per hour
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
