What you’ll do:

Design and implement large-scale defenses to protect user security, privacy, or safety

Evaluate and understand the technical tradeoffs of every decision

Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality

Work cross functionally to deep dive into open problems to keep abuse off the platform

Participate in the operational and on-call team duties

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company

Experience in solving open ambiguous problems from end to end

Loves learning and being passionate about helping others

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor in a technical field such as Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of software engineering experience

Strong Java knowledge with a proven track record in developing production quality software

Preferred Qualifications:

Java expert

Experience with Python, Go, and NodeJS

Experience working with large-scale adversarial challenges as a bonus

Experience with Google Cloud and DevOps as a bonus

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front end technologies a bonus

Experience with mobile apps and/or databases as a bonus

Skill in analyzing and organizing technical data
