Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Automation & Controls Engineer in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa location on first shift.This person will be responsible for the continuous improvement of specialized automated assembly & fabrication equipment as well as the innovation of new machine control and data collection methods. Machines and equipment include: automatic conveyor systems, tablet presses, furnaces, automated loading equipment, industrial robots, resistance welders, and more.What can you do in this position?Design, update, and continuously improve existing controls systems consisting of: vision systems, ladder logic programs, relay logic, motor controls, operator interfaces, pneumatic systems, and much more.
