Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Alion Science & Technology is seeking an exceptionally talented Solutions Architect (SA) who will provide the technical vision for our enterprise solutions supporting data-intensive initiatives. The team member aims to develop solutions that improve the business operations in line with enterprise goals and strategy. Success is measured through development of internal and enterprise capabilities (Alion Technical Expertise), revenue and fee.Job Duties:Alion’s SA is responsible for partnering and collaborating with stakeholders, executives, program managers (PMs), business development (BD), business management, Portfolio Managers (PfMs) and implementation team members to define and communicate the technical vision, enable technical execution plans and designs, and provide oversight to implementation teams to ensure their emerging design enables the technical vision. They bridge the gap between technical and business functions, help customers stand up new capabilities, and help Alion enter new markets. The role is split between direct support for existing customer and indirect support to secure new customers and expand work with existing customers.
