You will be responsible and accountable to the IPB Chief Technology Officer for the identification, progression and delivery into production of IPB AI/ML use cases.This is a Director-level role which will be an integral part of the IPB Tech Leadership Team.Job responsibilitiesAdvises and leads on the strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolioAdvises on the technical feasibility and business need for AI/ML use cases and writes IPB AI/ML business casesGuides and advises IPB developers through the Machine Learning Development Lifecycle (MDLC)Advises on cross-border implications, including national caveats and regulatory constraints and Data Privacy implicationsLiaises with firm wide AI/ML stakeholdersOversees the broader education of IPB developers in AI/ML developmentCreates novel code solutions and drives the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functionsTranslates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about technology advancementsDrives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesInfluences across business, product, and technology teams and successfully manages senior stakeholder relationshipsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experienceAdvanced proficiency in Python developmental toolsetsExperience in Natural Language Processing including Large Language ModelsExperience in building, evaluating and deploying Machine learning Models into ProductionAdvanced proficiency in Python developmental toolsetsPractical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityDemonstrated prior experience with influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scaleExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems across various technical disciplinesExtensive practical cloud native experienceBSc in Computer Science or related fieldPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPost graduate-level qualification in data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learningExperience within financial services technologyABOUT USJ.P.
