Job Responsibilities:Maintain the books and records of Hedge/Hybrid and Private Equity fundsReview fund governing documents and other related agreements, and ensure correct set-up and maintenance of fund structures and investments in accounting databasePrepare and/or review periodic Net Asset Valuations, management fee and carried interest/performance fee calculations, investor allocations and capital account statements in adherence with the control framework, including internal policies and proceduresPrepare and/or review capital call and distribution calculations including investor notices and reconcile call proceeds and distribution paymentsCoordinate with Investor Relations, release of capital notices and quarterly reporting on investor reporting portalWork closely with manager, team and support functions to manage client expectations and ensure adherence to SLA timelines on client deliverables and ad hoc requestsLiaise with support functions, internal & external stakeholders including risk and control groups, audit, tax, compliance, implementation and investor relationsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field3+ years' experience in an accounting role, preferably at a Big 4, PE firm or fund administratorKnowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for Investment FundsFamiliar with Private Equity & Hedge fund structuresAnalytical thinker and problem solver with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and balance multiple prioritiesTeam player with strong organizational, excellent interpersonal, communication and client service skills with ability to see projects to completionProficiency in Microsoft Office product suite and strong MS Excel skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsProfessional accounting qualification (CA, CPA) a plusExperience with Investran or similar integrated Private Equity system a plusABOUT USJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
