“Applies principles of psychology to human resources, administration, management, sales, and marketing problems. Activities may include policy planning; employee testing and selection, training and development; and organizational development and analysis. May work with management to organize the work setting to improve worker productivity.”
While the average, national job growth rate in the aggregate is5%, growth in the niche field of I-O psychology isn’t far behind at4%as of May 2021.
In 2022, the BLS reported that the median annual wage for I-O psychologists is$139,280with the highest 10% earning upwards of $210,030.

USDOL job description:
“Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, within the context of marriage and family systems. Apply psychotherapeutic and family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed nervous and mental disorders.”
In 2022 the median salary was$56,570, and the projected rate of growth in the industry was a healthy14%.(Close to 3 times the norm.)

According to the USDOL, the job of the Mental Health Counselor is to:
