The CoursesInstructors will be placed in either 9th, 10th, or 11th Grade. The courses offered in the Spring semester are:
ELA Instructors also teach our Identity and Empowerment (IE) class. SEO’s IE classes are designed to prepare Scholars for academic and social success. Throughout their time in SEO’s High School Scholars program, Scholars will be engaged with content in IE that will position them to develop as innovative leaders, ones who use their knowledge and experience to both challenge and inform suppositions about the world. Based on Instructors’ grade placements, they will teach the following IE courses:

Saturday Academy takes place at one of our partner sites through the semester where the instructor will be placed based on the grade level they are assigned:
Occasionally, Orientations and/or Professional Development for all grade assignments will be held either on Zoom or at the SEO Office:

The Instructors are allotted12 maximum hours per weekduring their seasonal employment, made up of Standard and Flex Hours.
